Oh my! This says it all!

    1. Bernice says:

      Incredible – isn’t it!

    1. Bernice says:

Not too many people make this mistake!

  2. I guess a hair blower won’t do the job.I’d hate to be the owner. Wonder what kind of damage has been done under the hood. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

    1. Bernice says:

I am in the process of posting my chicken pot pie recipe. I will add a link to the article about the young owner. They did get the vehicle freed with little damage.

      1. Oh yum about the recipe.
Good to hear little damage to the Popsicle car. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

      2. Bernice says:

I like that – popsicle car!! The young man was a good sport and seems like a nice young man.

I could have said Fudge cycle, but then we’d need chocolate. o_O πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

      4. Bernice says:

        True! And I love fudgsicles!

      5. I used to. Haven’t tried them in years, though I buy them for my grand kids. πŸ˜€

      6. Bernice says:

I am sure they are happy about that!

      7. …and I DO love to see them happy about anything other than material possessions. πŸ˜€

      8. Bernice says:

True that is always nice. πŸ™‚

      9. Ha ha. Yes, something good to instill in them. ❀

      10. Bernice says:

        Yes it is! πŸ™‚

  3. A lovely bit of art, an amazing moment frozen in time.

    1. Bernice says:

Yes, it is a moment in time! Luckily he got his vehicle out of that ice sculpture!

  4. willowdot21 says:

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! and I thought I was hard done having to scrape my windscreen this morning!!

  5. dodgysurfer says:

I bet he was late for work that day.

  6. dodgysurfer says:

“Took me ages to de-ice the windscreen..”

    1. Bernice says:

I cannot even imagine his expression when he returned the next day for his vehicle!

      1. dodgysurfer says:

That would take a LONG TIME to thaw out! Maybe he had to leave it until spring?

      2. Bernice says:

In my Chicken Pot Pie posting I posted a couple of links to articles and videos about the removal.

      3. dodgysurfer says:

Had a look but can’t run the videos on my phone. Will check on my tablet later. Thanks! I remember something similar recently from a lake in Switzerland.

      4. Bernice says:

I dislike how you cannot watch videos on your phone! It is an amazing story since all the conditions were just right. But I like to stay away from that lake during storms. I have driven through that area when the waves are breaking over onto the road. If your windshield is not warm enough the water can freeze. The lake is pretty on a nice day – but nasty during storms!

      5. dodgysurfer says:

So it’s aptly named in a way would you say? It’s easy to forget that large inland bodies of water can be anything but benign I suppose.

      6. Bernice says:

This is true!! Summer storms can also be bad!

  7. Oh! I’m shivering just seeing the picture!

    1. Bernice says:

It does make you cold – doesn’t it!

      1. Bernice says:

πŸ™‚ I am counting down to Spring!

    1. Bernice says:

Imagine finding your vehicle like that!

  8. hello bernice its dennis the vizsla dog hay i hope sumbuddy kalld batman and let him no mr freeze is in the area!!! ok bye

    1. Bernice says:

Hey Dennis! The driver is fine and was able to get his vehicle out of the frozen ice!

  9. dawn says:

I just posted a pic of the Mackinac Bridge, on instagram, saying I love that bridge…but not that cold! Brrr!

    1. Bernice says:

ha ha ha – we had a rather frigid storm come through!
