Realistic Cooking Ideas

for Busy People! And sharing our life adventures along the way!

This is the second part of our day-trip to Hidden Valley Animal Adventure. Click here for part 1. The Small Animal Adventure is part of the animal Safari package or you can purchase it separately. The image I had of a petting zoo went back to my childhood where there were a few farm animals to feed. This small animal adventure had exotic animals and a few babies. Nothing like I imagined! The camel was impressive in size and I loved how the Llamas just hanged out in the shade. Plus the camel was smart. You can purchase plastic cups with food to feed the animals. The camel knew if he could grab your cup he would have all the food! It was impressive watching him grab the cup and tip it upwards to eat his reward! The camels are pretty cool! They are confident and I think control the place! The kangaroo was pretty neat as he was really mellow taking a little nap. A few of the animals walk around loose – but they are gentle. One came up to Greg and nudge him looking at his hands for a cup of food. Smart! When he saw Greg did not have any food he left us for someone who would feed him! This farm definitely earns the name “Small Animal Adventure”! Do you have a favorite animal? I loved the camels and the baby pig!

They are adorable!! And smart – they know to nudge you for food or to grab the cup of food and they get all of it!

That kangaroo knows how to relax! And I’m always partial to zebras! Great photos! I felt like I was there. 🙂

I need to learn how to relax like that kangaroo!! I think I have more shots of zebras to share as part of the Safari tour. There was a baby zebra that came up to the bus.
