Como Park 12

I wanted to share a few pictures of the beaver damage we saw at Como Park during our first spring walk! Every year we see some beaver damage but this year it seemed more extensive. I guess they will not be happy until they take down all the trees! I do plan on going back to see if we can find the beavers so I can take a picture of them! Though as I understand they are most active early in the morning and at dusk so it might be hard to find them! It would be great to see one in action! And I do not think I ever saw a real one in person. Has anyone seen one in person?

wow…they have been busy!!! Congrats on taking a spring walk… 😉 our snow is almost gone…still cool, but there is and end to it…

It has been up and down with the weather. It is 70 degrees and beautiful. Then two days later it goes down to 30 deg F and snows! We hope that was the end of any snow!

  2. A friend of mine owned 70 acres of woodland in Louisiana. He hated beavers so much, he didn’t think it was funny when we sent him a cartoon joke about beavers. However, my respecting wildlife the way I do, they gotta have some “wood” rights. Peace.

I could imagine your friend had a problem with the beavers! It is amazing how much damage they do and I don’t know if you can control it. And I too would not want them hurt either.
