      1. Apologies for the delay in response; I have been offline for quite some time. But I am back into making and sharing new recipes. Yes I use butter for the cookies. My preference is Kerrygold Butter.

    1. Thank you. The cookies are fun to look at and eat! Getting my jewelry out for the pictures will help remind me to start wearing it for St Patty’s Day!

  1. The coolies look fabulous, and the shamrock reminds me again of dad every year he would receive a box of fresh shamrock through the post for us all to wear on St Patrick’s Day!

  2. My main heritage is Scots-Irish. Our family fled Scotland and migrated to Ireland. I have a Claddagh tattoo on the back of my arm. Cheers, cookies look delicious. I wish I liked sugar cookies =(

    1. I actually prefer to look at decorated sugar cookies than to eat them. Though I use baking flour so they are more chewy than crispy. I love the claddagh and thought if I ever got a tattoo that is what I would get! πŸ™‚
