    1. I read that some people used egg whites but given the concerns with uncooked eggs I decided to go with the meringue powder. I was really impressed that I was able to stack the cookies but yet the icing was edible. I found it in the baking aisle of my grocery store. I am glad you are enjoying the recipes!
