This is a wonderful sandwich that is easy to make for lunch or dinner. You can pair it with vegetables, a healthy salad, or a low-fat soup.
3 – 4 Thinly sliced smoked ham
1 Slice cooper cheese
1 Vine-ripe tomato, sliced
2 Slices Honey Apple Oat Bread (or other specialty bread)
I use a stick-free pan eliminating any butter or other fats. Cooper cheese melts nicely for a grilled cheese sandwich.
Assemble all ingredients between two slices of specialty bread. Using a stick-free frying pan, brown both sides of the sandwich while warming the ingredients and melting the cheese.
Let the sandwich cool for a minute or two before slicing and serving. Enjoy! I would like to hear any variations you have on this sandwich.
